Tell 2.0
pipelineanalytics
Tell, rewritten in Rust. Ingest product events, structured logs, and business data from multiple sources. Route to multiple storage formats. Sub-millisecond end-to-end.
Sources
Three ingestion paths:
- TCP — high-throughput binary ingestion for SDKs and collectors, with API key authentication
- HTTP — JSON ingestion for web and mobile, with API key authentication
- Syslog — TCP and UDP receivers for infrastructure logs, assigned to a workspace per port
Storage
Six destinations, each optimized for its use case:
- ClickHouse — real-time analytics queries over events, sessions, and logs
- Arrow IPC — fast columnar format for hot data and local exploration
- Parquet — compressed columnar archive with Snappy, Zstd, or LZ4 compression
- Disk — binary and plaintext formats with log-level separation and optional compression
- Stdout — structured output for debugging and development
- Null — discard sink for benchmarking ingestion throughput
Route the same data to multiple destinations at once — analytics to ClickHouse, archive to Parquet, plaintext logs to disk.
Live tail
Stream data through your terminal in real time with tell tail. Filter by source, type, or content to watch exactly what's flowing through your system.
